Born from a one-off Halloween gig covering Alkaline Trio tunes, Swivel quickly grew from a three-piece side project into a full-fledged alternative rock band. Hailing from Houston, Texas, the band fuses hard-hitting grooves, grunge-infused riffs, and catchy hooks to create a sound that’s both raw and melodic.

Drawing inspiration from the rhythmic intensity of Helmet and the sonic textures of Smashing Pumpkins, Swivel writes dynamic songs that fuse their influences into a powerful sound. Following their 2022 demo, the band released their debut studio EP, Having a Catch, in October 2023.

Now a four-piece with the addition of lead guitarist Jamie Ross in 2024, Swivel is bringing their live show to stages and is busy writing and recording new material for 2025.
